Roberto Blandón became very popular after starring in Mexican telenovelas 'Cuando Ilega El Amor' and 'Amor De Nadie', both of which were produced by Carla Estrada. Roberto Blandón then went on to star in the anthology telenovela 'Mujer, Casos De La Vida Real' in 1994 and in 1995, he was seen in 'María La Del Barrio'.
Roberto Blandón played the antagonist Alejandro in the telenovela 'Bajo Un Mismo Rostro' in 1995 and in 2000, he reunited with actress Lucia Mendez in the show 'Golpe Bajo'. His last show with TV Azteca was 'Como En El Cine' in 2001. He starred in the historical drama 'El Atentado' as Octaviano Liceaga. He is well known for starring in the telenovela 'Burden Of Guilt' in 2009.

He recorded the pilot episode of the series 'Mujeres Asesinas' and in 2009, worked in 'Mi Pecado', produced by Juan Osorio.
