Award-winning author, American actor, voice artist, storyteller, international theater performer, screenwriter, producer, and director Yuri Lowenthal was born in Alliance, Ohio, USA, grew up in Nashville, and moved to Virginia.

Majoring in East Asian Studies at The College of William & Mary, Lowenthal attended classes on theater. After graduation, he joined Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. He left his position eventually when acting was calling him. Yuri acted internationally and started working on commercials, voicing, and performing at the theater and on the big screen.

Besides being no stranger to cinematography, Yuri Lowenthal is also an established writer. He co-authored nearly three books, namely, 'Voice-Over Voice Actor: What It's Like Behind the Mic', 'Voice-Over Voice Actor: The Extended Edition', and 'Tough City'.

Yuri worked on several video games and cartoons.
