Our Arctic water animals coloring pages resource features an overview of some of the major arctic water animals, like the polar bear and seal above, and the whale, jellyfish, dolphin, and fish. The polar bear is a species of bear with white fur and one of the largest bodies, which is helpful for hunting in the arctic. The seal lives near the water and spends most of its time diving. The only whale that lives in the Arctic water is known as the bowhead whale, having a triangular head and a very strong skull that helps it to traverse through the ice. The jellyfish found in the Arctic are bigger than other species of jellyfish, and it has a bell-like huge body with long tentacles below it and is called a mane. Hence, Arctic jellyfishes are called Lion’s Mane jellyfish. The dolphin in the Arctic actually breathes the air above the water through a hole. These animals are intelligent swimmers with strong fins and flippers. The fish in the Arctic have high protein, which helps them to withstand the cold. In this way, around 200 species of such fish have learned to adapt to the arctic cold.
