Dogs, birds and cats are not the only contenders for top pets. Another unlikely contender for this spot is the bearded dragon. A bearded dragon is a type of reptile or lizard which is very common almost everywhere, especially in Australia. There are six different species of lizards which make up the group, ‘bearded dragon’. The six lizards of the group are, Pogona barbata, Pogona henrylawsoni, Pogona microlepidota, Pogona minor, Pogona miotchelli and Pogona nullarbor.
