The young ones are sure to have fun learning from this fun and informative free printable grizzly fighting coloring pages resource. Grizzly bears are big, large animals. They are mostly black, brown and grey in color. They are herbivorous animals and hence feed on plants, leaves, roots, and shoots, but their diet also consists of rodents and squirrels occasionally, especially when they are hunting. They hibernate for about five to seven months in a year and only come out of their hibernation in April and or May. During the hibernation period, they do not eat or drink or defecate. One reason is that they eat immensely before hibernating and mostly dig their caves to stay while hibernating. They are known to fight and wrestle among themselves. This mostly happens when they want to attract and mate with the female grizzly bear, where they fight and challenge each other to show their strength. Grizzly bears have been fighting humans inside the wrestling ring since the late nineteenth century in Europe and later in America. This added more adventure to the game and increased the spectacle in the sports. Did you know? Bears are attracted to beehives, and they like honey.
