We all love reading about various cultures and their traditions. There are a number of different mythologies and folklores that is prevalent in various places. Here, we introduce you to one such deity of an ancient culture. Quetzalcoatl is the name of a deity which was followed in the Mesoamerican culture during the Aztec era. The name has its origin in the Nahuatl culture in which the name refers to a feathered serpent. He is best recognized as the ruler of Toltecs in the mythical place of Tollan. He was also given several other titles like that of ‘protector of goldsmiths and other craftsmen’, ‘patron of preists’ and ‘inventor of calendar and books’.
