Five Minute Ice Cream

This easy five-minute ice cream recipe doesn't need any fancy machinery. All you need to make this delicious frozen treat is two sealable plastic bags, and your ingredients, and about five minutes of arm strength. We couldn't believe it was this easy either!

Ingredients:

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup double cream

1 cup single cream

2 cups of ice cubes

Half a cup salt

Half a cup of sugar

2 large resealable plastic bags

Method:

Pour cream, sugar and vanilla extract into one of the plastic bags. Seal well and slowly shake for about 30 seconds until the sugar has dissolved.

Put the salt and ice cubes in the second bag.

Place the bag with the vanilla ice cream mixture inside the bag with the ice cubes (still sealed) and seal the ice bag shut.

Shake the bags until the ice cream mixture freezes - usually about 5 or 6 minutes.

You're ready to serve your homemade ice cream for the perfect summer treats.
