What to expect

Are you looking for a session where your children can continue with their STEM learning at home? Join Virtual Science Space for their ‘Science Power Hour’. It will get your aspiring scientists, engineers and STEM lovers engaging in science experiments and demonstrations for kids. With us all spending more time at home, Science Space has found the perfect way to continue teaching!  

Join the Virtual Science Space gang, who are made up of real-life scientists, science students and aspiring educators, in their lab for some unbelievable experiments for kids. You'll find all past videos on their site, with over 50 sessions available to watch now. Themes for the sessions change each week; so far, bubbles, slime making, mini catapults, static electricity, volcanoes and slinky sound have all been covered! There will be an explosive range of at-home science experiments that you can join in. To take part, your are encouraged to collect as many bits and pieces that Science Space will recommend for you to get on the page! These sessions are the perfect opportunity to get your kids back to the classroom learning!

What you’ll need

  • Pen and paper - Virtual Science Space will list the items required for you to recreate afterwards. So, be ready to take notes.
  • Make sure you have a good WiFi connection for the best user experience.

What you’ll do

  • Over fifty science classes have been streamed and saved to the Virtual Science Space site for your kids aged 4-12. The amazing STEM team will demonstrate explosive science experiments that your children will love.
