Francis Crick Institute

The Francis Crick Institute is a scientific institute studying the biology of health and disease. They focus on trying to understand why and how diseases develop and turn their knowledge into cures and preventative measures for illnesses like stroke, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. With around 1,500 scientists under their roof, this is the largest biomedical research facility in Europe. Not only are they leaders in their field, but Crick also runs a series of events and educational open days throughout the year, from primary school children to adults.
