The O2

The O2 Arena is one of London’s largest and most iconic venues, with a capacity of 20,000 people. It is known for hosting live music concerts from some of the world’s biggest artists, renowned sporting events and prestigious award shows such as the annual National Television Awards. Situated right on the River Thames at Greenwich Peninsula in South East London, The O2 is much more than just an arena, though. Inside the unique tent-like structure you will find a whole indoor village including some of the best restaurants, unique entertainment facilities and newly-built Icon Shopping Outlet. The eclectic venue is also now famous for its Up at The O2 climb experience, where visitors are taken on a 90-minute ascent up the domed building to view London from whole new, 52-metre-high heights.
