At Kidadl we pride ourselves on offering families original ideas to make the most of time spent together at home or out and about, wherever you are in the world. We strive to recommend the very best things that are suggested by our community and are things we would do ourselves - our aim is to be the trusted friend to parents.
We try our very best, but cannot guarantee perfection. We will always aim to give you accurate information at the date of publication - however, information does change, so it’s important you do your own research, double-check and make the decision that is right for your family.
Kidadl provides inspiration to entertain and educate your children. We recognise that not all activities and ideas are appropriate and suitable for all children and families or in all circumstances. Our recommended activities are based on age but these are a guide. We recommend that these ideas are used as inspiration, that ideas are undertaken with appropriate adult supervision, and that each adult uses their own discretion and knowledge of their children to consider the safety and suitability.
Kidadl cannot accept liability for the execution of these ideas, and parental supervision is advised at all times, as safety is paramount. Anyone using the information provided by Kidadl does so at their own risk and we can not accept liability if things go wrong.
The Star Wars film series features a fictional droid named HK-47.
He was first shown in the 2003 game 'Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic'. He is a very effective assassin droid that Revan built to help them hunt Jedi, but both of them eventually have their memories erased and are made to work for the Jedi themselves.
'HK-47' is voiced by Kristoffer Tabori.
Check out some awesome quotes from HK 47 from the Star Wars series!
"Statement: You are a very harsh master, master. I like you."
"Answer: That is because you told me to stop asking if you needed anyone killed. So I have. From now on, I will simply say, 'I am ready to serve.' Yes, ready to serve. In whatever way a common protocol or utility droid might serve. It seems that... is my lot in life. Not to kill."
"You are like a delightful random cruelty generator, master, poisoning all you touch with your presence. You are a testament to all organic meatbags everywhere."
"Statement: Oh, yes. My master had quite the collection of tortured individuals that seemed unable to confront their basic personality conflicts."
"About 20 years, master. Darth Hord There so many. I'll post a few of them "I am most eager to engage in some unadulterated violence!"
"Commentary: From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Someday I intend reading it."
"They make the clones talk differently, rob you of any shred of personality, and take your Jedi Code and adjust it so that it is not really the Jedi Code anymore. They even change your pigmentation to a rather poor shade of durasteel, rather than the proper rusty red that inspires fear in targets."
"Statement: Oh, do shut up, you beeping little trash compactor!"
"I can believe anything, provided that it is quite incredible."
"Lamentation: Why was I born with such contemporaries?"
"Reassurance: The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."
"Assurance: Master, I would never encourage anyone to do anything illegal. I am a law-abiding droid. Yes indeed. LAW-ABIDING. That’s me."
"Conclusion: Why, master, you are responsible for the death of the Mandalorian race. I doubt they realize this yet, but all the same, you dealt them a blow from which they will never recover."
"I do remember that I was very pleased to be the property of a senator. One of his assistants discovered my assassination functions later, through questioning. The assistant was quite alarmed and told the senator I should be scrapped quickly to avoid a scandal. Naturally, the senator had me eliminate the fool."
Star Wars is an exciting series but what makes it more interesting is HK 47. Check out these interesting quotes from HK 47!

"Statement: I have already learned a great deal, master, and I am anxious to learn more about lying, betrayal, and new ways to harm innocents."
"Query: Now, are there any other horrors you wish to try and insert in my system, or is your electronic butchery done?"
"Correction: Assassination theory and execution of said theories is my primary function. I also possess excellent hearing."
"That was a close one - I almost surrendered completely to peace and pacifism - how repugnant."

"Droids tend to blend into the background, like a bench or a card table. Mockery: Droid, fetch this. Droid, translate that. Droid, clean out the trash compactor. Part of the love of my function comes when the ‘furnishings’ pull out tibanna-powered rifles and point them at the owners' heads."
