Joe Barton or Joseph Linus Barton is a Republican politician who is known for representing the sixth congressional district of Texas in the US in the past.

His district included part of Fort Worth, Arlington, and some small towns and rural areas south of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Barton was also a part of the Tea Party Caucus.
