All set to celebrate the life and legacy of the Girl Scout's founder this October 31?
The dynamic founder of Girl Scout, Juliet Gordon Low, was born on October 31 in Savannah, Georgia. She was popularly known as Daisy by her friends and family, and she enjoyed creative arts and outdoor activities.
With an aim to empower girls to enhance their creativity, she created Girl Guides Troop in 1912. Initially, 18 girls were present for the first troop meeting. In 1915, the Girl Guides Troop was converted into the Girl Scouts of the USA.
