International Animal Rights Day is celebrated by people worldwide.
Animal lovers and people who respect them and work for animal rights celebrate International Animal Rights Day on December 10th.
The first International Animal Rights Day celebration was established in 1998 by the Uncaged Campaigns of the Animal Rights Association.
When the general assembly of the United Nations adopted and declared human rights day in 1948, organizations and associations came forward proposing a day for other sentient beings as well. Later International Animal Rights Day was declared as per the recognition of UDAR.
In the past, humans have been these sentient creatures for food and clothing. Many countries increased their trade rates by selling clothes made using the skin of animals. Well, it is only in the present generation that people have understood about giving equal freedom to animals and giving respect to various species, both on land and sea creatures.
The main tradition for celebrating this day is to give awareness and declaration through events to humans about respecting and protecting animals as they are also sentient beings with whom we should share our land and nature.
International Animal Rights Day can be celebrated by giving awareness through events and drawing people’s attention towards the community to support these poor sentient beings, animals from getting killed and harmed. Also, the members of PETA encourage citizens to opt for a vegan lifestyle and pet adoption to protect and avoid meat consumption from their daily life and support for their survival by giving them respect and proper care, and kind treatments.
International Animal Rights Day creates awareness of ethical animal treatment across the world.
This day is dedicated to encouraging the conservation and preservation of animal species.
International Animal Rights Day is celebrated on December 10 every year.
World Animal Day is celebrated on October 4 to contribute to a global movement or change in the world towards making it a better place for animals along with humans.
Yes, December 10 is considered International Animal Rights Day.
The theme for World Animal Day of 2021 was 'Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Plant'.
October 4 is celebrated as World Animal Day to honor the feast of Francis of Assisi. He was regarded as a patron saint of animals.
April 11 is considered National Pet Day. The week from June 5-11 in 2022 will be celebrated as Pet Appreciation Week in the US.
International Animal Rights Day talks about animal cruelty and gives awareness to people about animal feelings and the behavior with which we should treat them. International Animal Rights Day encourages us to be more loving and caring to animals, supporting their protection and working with organizations for animal rights.
Animals are also living beings. We should give them ethical treatment and vote for their protection and rights. By teaching ourselves and giving awareness to all, you can do study research or write a paper or article for detailed knowledge of the issue.
