Harry Potter Day started back in 2012, as this auspicious day for Harry Potter lovers was declared as Potterheads across Europe, and the world would have wished for a long time.
Prime Minister David Cameron created history and declared Harry Potter Day on May 2 as the Battle of Hogwarts was fought on this day. The Battle of Hogwarts is the conclusive battle at the end of the final book!
The legendary Harry Potter journey started in 1997 with publishing its first book. Rowling's work continued to gain prominence among Harry Potter fans. Eventually, it turned into an iconic movie series/ This new holiday serves as an annual celebration for Potterheads to indulge in their love for everything Hogwarts and enjoy the day with their favorite Harry Potter books and movies!
Harry Potter Day is incomplete without a movie marathon. People also visit various events worldwide in Harry Potter-themed costumes, from Harry Potter to the main antagonist Lord Voldemort, every character can be seen enjoying the day.
