Every year, Silver Star Service Banner Day is observed on May 1 in the USA.
People of the USA, and especially the ones with star silver medals and under the silver star families, observe this day to honor the contributions of wounded, dying, and ill military people of the USA.
Silver Star Service Banner Day was first started in the year 2010.
The United States House of Representatives was the first to pass the resolution on April 21, 2010, about the start of Silver Star Service Banner Day on May 1.
Once, somewhere around the 1800s, the Citation Star was given to the person who showed gallantry on the battlefield. Later, this very award was changed to the silver star medal, and then came the Silver Star Banner Day, which is now observed every year.
The tradition of this day is to honor the silver medal receivers and remember the exceptional courage and valor of these servers on the battlefield.
There are many ways to observe Silver Star Service Banner Day. Some of these ways include remembering and paying respect to those who sacrificed in order to serve, reading about some of those silver star medal recipients, encouraging youth to be a part of the US military, and finally, honoring those who died for the greater good of the nation.
Silver Star Service Banner Day is intended to honor silver star medal recipients as well as all sick, wounded, and dying veterans.
The day is meant to honor the silver star medalist. At the same time, it is meant to remember the exceptional courage that was shown by the military personnel in the war field.
When we observe any occasion, we must not do something ethically, morally, or legally wrong.
Silver Star Service Banner Day is so named because it is a day set aside to honor silver star medalists and those who made significant sacrifices for the country while wounded, ill, or dying.
