Everyone’s favourite dreamers are hitting Wembley Park’s Troubadour for a limited run only! Fame the Musical promises to be bigger and better than ever for their 30th anniversary tour, so dust off that leotard and get dancing along while you can!

If your children are budding musical theatre lovers they’ll be truly inspired by these kids with big dreams and even bigger talents. Follow the students of New York's High School for The Performing Arts as they navigate their way from auditions to graduation, with plenty of romance, heartbreak, song and dance along the way. With an eclectic mix of characters from every walk of life, you’ll be sure to find one to relate to amongst Joe the joker, ambitious actress Serena, quiet violinist Schlomo and fame-obsessed Carmen. Recommended for 12+ year olds, this longstanding show explores everyday teen challenges from identity to prejudice and ambition to friendship through its uplifting musical spectacular. If your kids are anything like me when I saw the show as a musical theatre-loving teen, they’ll be begging for dance lessons and flights to New York’s Broadway as soon as you leave!

Fame has been reworked multiple times from the original 1980 pop culture film to two stage adaptations and one television series, but the story’s beloved core of young musical ambition remains the same. This staging at Wembley Park’s Troubadour theatre features a star-studded cast including Keith Jack of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and the wonderful Jorgie Porter who you’ll recognise from Hollyoaks and Dancing On Ice. It features the iconic Oscar-winning title song and of course an abundance of straddle jumps, split leaps and high-kicks now symbolic of this musical phenomenon that will have your family dancing your way home and literally reaching for the stars!

With an outstanding cast of dancers, singers, musicians and actors, this 30th anniversary production is a celebration not to be missed which proves that the beloved Fame the Musical will in fact live forever!
