Fortnum and Mason’s Christmas Window

Looking at Christmas window displays is a great way to have some free festive fun. The Fortnum and Mason decorations this year are purrfect and, you may have guessed it, cat inspired. Go and have a look at the feline friends to see what happens behind the scenes at the world famous department stores.

The Addams Family

The animated remake of the classic comedy, The Addams Family, is showing at the Regent Street Cinema for Kids Kino Club on Saturday. Get out of the cold and introduce your kids to this much-loved film all about the importance of family, loyalty and embracing each other’s quirks.

The Addams Family

London Stories Picture Quest

Get out and about this weekend by heading on a problem-solving picture quest across London! On this scavenger hunt with a twist, all the picture clues will be sent to your phone so you can do the whole thing at your own pace. You can use up to 4 phones per group so why not split into teams and get competitive!

Year 3 at The Tate Britain

This is a great new exhibition at the Tate Britain featuring year 3 classes from around London. With pupils from all walks of life, the classic school portraits capture them at a milestone year of their childhood. It’s a great way to introduce your kids to art in a relatable and fun way.

My Old Dutch

My Old Dutch is the place to go if you fancy some delicious pancakes this weekend. Whether you’re after sweet or savoury, there’s something for the whole family, from creamed spinach to chocolate sauce (although we don’t recommend putting the two together)!

Delicious Kinder egg pancakes!

Winter Wonderland

You know Christmas has arrived in London when Winter Wonderland opens! Head to the iconic attraction this weekend to soak up some festive fun. Check out the market, have a go on the rides and watch a show! It’s the perfect place to spend a day with the family.

Spitalfields City Farm

Get a small taste of the countryside by visiting Spitalfields City Farm this weekend. It’s a great place to go and get close to some farmyard friends and try a treat from the delicious tea hut! Have a look at their vegetable patch and see if there’s any you can take home to add to your Sunday roast.

Wicked

If you’re thinking about seeing a musical this weekend Wicked is a great option. It’s got incredible costumes, an amazing set and wonderful music. You wouldn’t think it, but it also teaches some great life lessons, have a look at our recent blog to find out what they are!

The Museum of The Moon

The Natural History Museum is currently hosting a beautiful installation that features a replica of the moon. The 6-metre model even has NASA footage of the moon’s surface projected onto it, it’s out of this world!

Chelsea Christmas Lights

Haven’t had the chance to head to any of the Christmas light switch-on events yet? Don’t worry, Chelsea’s lights are being turned on this Saturday from 2pm and it’s set to be a great afternoon. There’s brand new lights and plenty of entertainment to get you in the Christmas spirit.

St James’s Park

St James’s Park is a great place to go for some fresh air this weekend, especially now that the crowds of Winter Wonderland will have taken over Hyde Park. St James’s park is special because of the brilliant views of Buckingham Palace and the resident pelicans!

Classic Bus Tour

If you’re a Londoner, it can be easy to take this great city for granted! Heading on a bus tour is a brilliant way to see some of the sights you may have forgotten about or haven’t visited in a while. We love this Classic Tour, not only is the 1960s bus a bit different but the guides are amazing and we’ve got 24% off!

Three Compasses

If you’re wondering where to go for a roast this weekend, look no further! Three Compasses is a trendy relaxed pub with a brilliant menu for kids and adults alike! We love the roasts and the mac & cheese and if you’re feeling really indulgent, why not get both together?

Richmond Christmas Fair

Our final festive suggestion for this weekend is the Richmond Christmas Fair! This Saturday the community college will be transformed into a winter wonderland as it’s taken over by brilliant local businesses. It’s a great place to do some Christmas shopping if you’re looking for some unique bits and pieces!
