Calling all curious sparks! Come and ignite your passion for invention at the UK’s largest science museum. A bonanza of science fun - dive into space with an immersive virtual reality simulation of the cosmos, described by astronaut Tim Peake as "astonishingly" close to the real thing!

Avid Kidadler Deb says you can easily spend the whole day at the museum. "As well as the Wonderlab, there are various other activities, demonstrations and experiment shows throughout the day (most free). And of course there's also the iMax 3D shows. The info desk are very helpful," she adds.

In The Garden, young children can play with water, sound, building blocks and more. With fizzes, and science whizzes, you’re sure to go out with a bang!

Kidadler Hannah says: "It’s great! They have a fab section in the basement and they have a bubble shows which is great every hour but get there early for that."

Kidadler Amanda shares her experience: "I have a 2.5-year-old and we started out on the ground floor, looking into space, looking at the cars and engines and then we went to a small interactive area called the pattern pod for young children, then headed to the garden in the basement!"
