A must for passionate young scientists, the Faraday Museum celebrates the RI’s illustrious members and explores over 200 years of scientific discovery. Housed in a magnificent building, highlights include a state-of-the-art nanotechnology lab and the preserved 1850s laboratory where Michael Faraday carried out pioneering work on electricity and magnetism. 


Expect to spend around an hour exploring the museum’s three floors. An excellent pitstop for a small taste of science history with loads to please mini mad scientists! Finish off by getting a snap with the impressive statue of Faraday at the foot of the central staircase.
