Adam George Peaty, a 26-year-old swimmer from Great Britain, specializes in the breaststroke form of swimming and has bagged multiple Olympic goal medals to date.

Adam Peaty has a long list of accolades; he has won all the major international honors: the Olympics, the World Championships, the European Championships, and also the Commonwealth Games. He is only one of the five British swimmers to have won all the major gold medals, but at the same time, he is the only one to win all of these in the same single event.

Adam Peaty was born on December 28, 1994, and hails from Uttoxeter, East Staffordshire, England. He weighs in at around 189 lb (86 kg) and has a height of 75 in (191 cm). At the moment, Adam Peaty holds the world records for both the 50m and 100m breaststroke events. He has broken his own world record a total of 14 times! Since 2014, he has created world records in the 50m breaststroke and the 100m breaststroke. He also became the first man on the planet to complete the 50m breaststroke under 26 seconds and the 100m breaststroke first under 58 seconds and then improved his own world record by completing it under 57 seconds, which is now a new world record time. He participates in events such as the 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke, 4x100 medley relay, mixed 4x100m medley relay, and many others. Adam Peaty had a pretty ordinary early life, and he was the youngest of all his other three siblings. Knowing that Peaty is a World Champion and has won gold medals at both the Rio Olympics and Tokyo Olympics, this might seem a bit absurd, but during the initial days of Adam's life, he was afraid of water as his brothers had told him that sharks might come up from the plughole. However, in no time, Adam Peaty lost his fear when he joined swimming classes, and we all know about his journey since then. Some people draw comparisons between him and Michael Phelps; the latter is the most decorated Olympian ever, but we can't compare their speeds as they participate in different swimming events.
