The meagle is a breed of dog. They belong to the Canidae family.

What class of animal does a Meagle belong to?

The meagle breed belongs to the Mammalia class of animals.

How many Meagles are there in the world?

Meagle dogs or the miniature pinscher-beagle mix are primarily bred by expert breeders or the homes of their owners. They are one of the hybrid designer dog breeds.

The popularity of these dogs has grown manifolds over the last few decades. As the demand for these dogs in society has increased, the breeding process has become more uncontrolled over the years. Hence, the population of the Meagle dogs in exact numbers cannot be calculated.

Where does a Meagle live?

Meagle is a relatively new breed of dog. It's a mixed dog breed of the Beagle and the Miniature Pinscher.

Both the parents are pretty popular around the world, and the popularity of the Meagle is catching on with the parent breeds.

As the Meagle is particularly new, the location or the time it was first bred is not known, but as the popularity of the dogs is growing, they can be seen living in many parts all around the world, except Antarctica.

What is a Meagle's habitat?

Meagles are a mixed breed of a dog. They are a cross of beagles and miniature pinschers.

According to the history of beagles, they were first bred to help out their owners to hunt for small animals, like rabbits. They have been considered excellent hunters for a long time.

The history of the miniature pinschers also states that they were first bred to help their owners in hunting rats, vermins in their households. Their cross offspring, the meagles, are comparatively a new breed, but they have also been bred to live as companions with their owners.

Hence, they live in households with their owners all around the world. They have short hair on their body, which means that they usually will not be able to tolerate cold climate regions.

Who do Meagles live with?

Meagle dogs or the min-pin beagle mix live with their owners, in domestic households. They are loyal and affectionate towards their owners.

They can be cautious of strangers, but they are extremely loving and friendly towards the family they live with. The parent breeds of the Meagle have been known as hunting dogs, so the Meagles might become a little problematic if there are small animals like rats or rabbits.

However, they get along pretty well with other dogs and slightly bigger animals. They get along very well with the children of the house as well.

How long does a Meagle live?

The average lifespan of these dogs is about 10-15 years. The only things that can threaten their lifespan are injuries or diseases. Hybrid dog breeds are usually healthy and active, but you should still keep an eye out for health issues.

How do they reproduce?

Reproduction for all dogs happens in the same way with a few little differences. Whatever kind of dog you have, before they are bred, you would need to test them for two things.

The first of them would be to test them for any diseases.

If the male or female of the parents has any disease, chances are the puppy might inherit those as well, so it's very important to test them beforehand. The second would be to test if any of the parents have any negative personality traits.

These dogs are usually very affectionate, energetic, active, might be prone to separation anxiety, mischievous, intelligent, gentle, and friendly. If the parents have any negative temperament issues other than these, then they might pass on that to the puppies.

If your male and female dog has passed these tests, then the other thing you should look out for is the males and females both should be at least two years of age. The female should have already had 3-4 heat cycles.

Usually, the gestation period is 60-63 days.

The average litter size of a beagle is up to eight puppies, and the litter size of miniature pinschers is up to five puppies. Hence, we can assume that the meagles can have anywhere between two and eight puppies after their gestation period ends.

What is their conservation status?

The conservation status of the Meagle dogs is Not Listed in the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List. These pinscher beagle mix dogs are gaining popularity and are not facing any great threats, so we can assume that their population is not threatened in any way.
