The 1975 facts are a collection of events in the year around the world.

The year was known for the most famous inventions and marked the highest world population growth rate. Since 1975, it's observed that the global population has grown by one billion about every 12 years.

The significant inventions during the year were Aryabhata- India's first satellite launched using Soviet boosters in April. Kodak engineer Steven Sasson invented the digital camera in December. The Altair 8800 had become the first commercially successful microprocessor-based computer and was promoted on the cover of Popular Electronics.

Chris Evert: American Tennis Player

From cheese to Rolex, she endorsed all, the U.S. tennis boomed. In April 1975, Microsoft was formed by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. The first video tape was released in Japan in May 1975. Pet Rocks, made in 1975, is a collectible toy made by smooth stones from Mexico's Rosarito Beach and advertised by executive Gary Dahl.

American actress Jane Fonda oz is still in frame, even after decades. Another American actress Goldie Hawn, from the '70s, was famous. Carrie Fisher and Jodie Foster were some others.

The Cinderella in Sneakers, Chris Evert, crafted an everlasting legacy on her claycourts. She competed with Martina Navratilova.

She won a record of seven French Open titles and U.S. Open crowns. Chris Evert formed half of the most famous rivalry in all women's tennis. From 1971 U.S. Open through 1983, she holds the record of consecutive Grand Slam in the Open Era.

Cannon v. University of Chicago: Law Case

Freedoms Carlos Pace scored his only victory at the 1975 Brazilian Grand Prix. The first Brazilian racecar driver Emerson Fittipaldi won Formula One Grand Prix. In 1975, Fittipaldi, another Brazilian racecar driver, was thought to become a legendary F1 driver.

A 39-year-old female, Geraldine Cannon, was denied admission to two private medical schools in Illinois, the Northwestern University Medical School and the University of Chicago. Both schools did not admit candidates over 30 unless they had already earned advanced degrees.

Cannon understood that these policies discriminated against gender. She filed a legal complaint against their admission policies, asserting gender equity in higher education.

Amidst this, the Spanish dictator dies. Franco, aged 82 and was interred in the Valle de Los Caídos., The Francoist dictatorship was the period of Spanish history between 1939 and 1975 when Francisco Franco ruled Spain titled as Caudillo.

As the Spanish dictator died, the country transitioned into a democracy. Joop Den Uyl was a Dutch politician and economist from the Netherlands who served as Prime Minister from 1973 to 1977. The first prime minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was assassinated in August 1975.

Executive Order 11905: United States History

In public speeches, the administration officials often criticized the term assassination, who said it characterized targeted killings carried out by the United States. However, the U.S.'s targeted killings were lawful in the administration's view.

In response to the litigation, the administration released legal memos that listed out this seemingly circular reasoning elaboratively.

The assassination ban was shortly put into place once the 1975 Church Committee Interim report was received, which reasoned the Committee's investigation of U.S. assassination plotted against foreign leaders; it aided assassination plots in the Vietnam, Dominican Republic, and Chile. Noting that CIA directors changed, the report recommended that Congress ban assassination.

President Gerald Ford, concerned that Congress might do so, issued Executive Order 11905, which was further modified on Executive Order 12333 that stated: 'No person who's employed by or found acting on behalf of the U.S. Government shall take part in, or conspire to be engaged in, assassination.'

On September 22, 1975, Sara Jane Moore had an assassination attempt in San Francisco. Gerald Ford, the President, survives as Moore fired gunshots, both of which were missed. President survives this after another woman was shot 17 days ago. This assassination attempt happened when Ford in California headed to Legislature in Sacramentum to speak.

Gough Whitlam was the Australian prime minister between 1972 to 1975 and was dismissed from office. In July 1974, the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ecevit in coalition with the religious National Salvation Party, invaded Cyprus, leading to 5000 deaths.

Patti Smith: American Poet, Songwriter, and Singer

During the year 1975, significant shifts in cultural developments were made. New pop-culture history was created; there was other pop culture news about different bands, some getting back-to-back shows.

Patricia Lee Smith, an American singer-poet, songwriter, author, musician, and became an influential fraternity with her 1975 debut album Horses, was a part of the New York City punk rock movement. This American singer fused rock and poetry laureate.

Carrie Fisher, an American actress, made her debut in the movie 'Shampoo' in 1975, and two years later, she became Princess Leia in 'Star Wars'. The Average White Band, known for its Scottish R&B funky music created a series of disco and soul hits during 1974 and 1980.

Spanish singer, Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler, born May 8, 1975, is widely regarded as the King of Latin Pop. Another Spanish singer, Paco de Lucia, is known for his 1975 breakthrough track 'Entre Dos Aguas.'

English actor James D'Arcy was also born this year. Sigourney Weaver, an American actress, became intensely popular in the 70s in films like 'Annie Hall' and 'Serpico'. Alistair Cook is an English actor who was born this year.

Icelandic writer from the 20th Gunnarsson wrote in Danish and gained a wider audience for he wrote exclusively on Icelandic history and his Icelandic background for his works. The Icelandic writer passed away in November 1975.

In 1975, Guns N' Roses were an excellent UK pop group.

By February 2022, Guns N' Roses will release a new ep 'Hard Skool'. The Japanese singer Ami Onuki was born in 1973, and the other Japanese singer Yumi Yoshimura, born in 1975 with well-toned voices, and their newer musical arrangement attracted the audience.

American singer David Bowie released Young Americans, an album by RCA Records, in 1975. The North American leg kicks are planning to kick off on January 10, 2022, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene or wrap up in March.

Dane Keaton, an American actress who won an academy award in 1977, was known for her comedic work with Woody Allen.

Some of the popular hit albums during the year were from Paul Simon named Still Crazy After All These Years, Dog Day Afternoon, Barry Lydon, and Saturday Night Live. The American actor Bradley Charles Cooper who was on the list of Forbes's top 100 influential people, was born in 1975.

Rodrigo Junqueira Reis Santoro, a Brazilian actor, known for his movie 300 as Persian King Xerxes, was born in August 1975.

In 1975, the Honor of merit award was received by Brazilian actor, Yves Goulart and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' was one of the big hit comedy-drama released that year. American actor Lee Major starrer, The Six Million Dollar Man Tv series showcased from 1973 to 1978 was about NASA test pilot Bruce Peterson.

American rapper Clive Campbell hosted the revolution of the first hip-hop party in the Bronx in 1973 and was popularly known to history as DJ Kool Herc.

'Jaws' and 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' were the two feature films released in August 1975, perhaps considered the most famous cult films of all time. One of the famous tv commercials, Kool-Aid man, introduced in 1975, was set in a bowling alley became one of the most loving characters in advertising history.

Island Girl, a song performed by Elton John, was number one for three weeks in the U.S. Between 1970 and 1979, Pink Floyd, an American musician, released nine studio albums.

The Herman Goelitz company introduced the gourmet jelly bean of which grape, very cherry, cream soda were some of the original flavors and tangerine. It was rebranded the 'Jelly Belly' in 2000.

Apart from all this pop culture history, Billie Jean King became the first female athlete to earn more than $100,000. After two bouts of chemotherapy in 1975, the Australian footballer Peter Crimmins attempted to return for the VFL Grand Final.

Scott Kenneth Chipperfield, born in December 1975, was a talented Australian footballer known for his aggressive attack and scored many goals.

He played as a midfielder for Wollongong Wolves. American professional open golf Lou Graham won six PGA Tour tournaments, including the 1975 U.S. Opens.
