Adam And Eve Story

The story starts with Adam and Eve's expulsion from the Garden of Eden and ends with their deaths. How long they lived in the Garden is unknown but there have been many speculations related to the timeline.

Eve conducts penance in the freezing Tigris river in the first chapters, but Satan convinces her out of it. When Adam protests that Satan's persecuting them, Satan reveals that he was ejected from heaven because of Eve.

For refusing to obey God's command to worship Adam, Satan and his followers were driven out of heaven. Adam is unfazed by the story and spends forty days in the Jordan River doing penance.

Forbidden fruit found in the Garden of Eden from the Tree of Knowledge was the subject of God's first recorded discussion with Adam. Except for the fruit from that tree, Adam and Eve were informed they may eat whatever they desired.

God warned them that if they did, they would perish. Death was God's forewarning before 'the great fall' and humankind's loss of purity.
