White trillium is one of the endangered species of flowers, they are very rare and four of the other species of flowers in this genus have a conservation status of non-extinct.

Trillium grandiflorum is a classic spring woodland wildflower, they start blooming during the early spring season. They are also known as spring ephemerals, they have a snow-white color and this flower doesn't have any smell.

These flowers are also known as the trinity flower, as they have three petals. It is very difficult to grow a garden of this flower, as the seeds of these plants can take almost years to grow.

Thus to establish wildflower gardens it's best to buy these woodland plants from a nursery, instead of buying the seed.

They are extremely famous in North America, but only some species of these white flowers can be seen or grown in the garden, the other species of this plant are extremely rare.

Each trillium carries 16 trillium seeds, which can be planted in late summer or early fall in moist soil, having a partial shade. This plant also has few medicinal purposes, they are known to help with menstrual cramps and rheumatism.

Since they have three petals, they are famous for the name trinity flower. They are often spread across the forest with the help of ants, which help to spread the seeds of trillium.

Nonethless, while growing trillium it is important to know that despite having rich soil, this flowering plant takes many years to grow.

This is also the reason why they are rare, in nature a trillium plant can take up to seven years to grow, in some cases this plant even takes a decade to grow.

Due to the medical properties of the trillium, native Americans used the seed, flower, and even the root of this plant to cure numeral things and infections. The only downside of this plant is it grows very slowly and the trillium seeds take almost two years to germinate.
