Kangnasaurus is a genus of ornithopod dinosaurs of the Early Cretaceous. The generic name of the dinosaur means Kangnas lizard and it is in reference to Kangnas farm. The name of the type species, Kangnasaurus coetzeei refers to the farmer named Coetzee. This dinosaur has often been treated as a dubious genus since the dinosaur remains are remarkably scarce.
