Adam Noah Levine, born on March 18, 1979, is an American singer, popularly recognized as the lead singer of the famous pop-rock band, Maroon 5.

They tried a number of genres and ultimately decided on groove-based music to be their thing.
Then came the inclusion of James Valentine, who would be the new guitarist of the band letting Adam Levine focus only on the singing. The band was renamed Maroon 5.
In 2002, Maroon 5 released its debut album 'Songs About Jane'.
In the album, there were songs which were written by Adam Levine dedicated to his ex-girlfriend. The album took some time to popularize and in a span of two years, it had sold almost 10 million copies.
