Rod Serling is a playwright, screenwriter, narrator, and television producer known for his popular anthology TV series and live television dramas from the 1950s.

Serling was loved by American audiences for his madly popular 'Twilight Zone' series. Serling also had an active involvement in politics.

Rod Serling was an intense individual who would smoke a couple of packs of cigarettes a day and was known to lie awake in bed, coming up with his best ideas. Apparently, he rarely touched a typewriter, preferring to dictate his scripts to maintain the idea's vividly.
