Emma Frost is a made-up character that is frequently associated with the X-Men in the Marvel comic series.

The author Chris Claremont along with artist/co-writer John Byrne invented the persona, who debuted in 'Uncanny X-Men' (January 1980). Up to the occurrences of Inhumans vs. X-Men, Emma Frost, also called the White Queen, transformed from a supervillain, an enemy of the X-Men to a superhero, of the X-most Men's important members, and its leader.
