Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill was born in Saint Helier, Jersey (British Crown Dependency).
Cavill's father, Colin Cavill was a stockbroker, and his mother, Marianne Dalgliesh, worked in a bank as a secretary. Superman, Henry Cavill is the second-youngest of his four brothers.
Henry Cavill attended St Michael's Preparatory School and then went to Stowe School, a boarding school in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. Cavill commenced his acting career in the film, 'Laguna' and 'The Count Of Monte Cristo', later on, he was cast in the TV show 'The Inspector Lynley Mysteries' (BBC).
