Jack Skellington is one of the most popular and exemplary characters created by Tim Burton.

As the lead character of the 1993 Tim Burton movie, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', he is known as the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town who represents the Halloween patron who is as important as the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.

Unlike most Burton movies with Johnny Depp as the lead cast, Jack Skellington has been voiced by Chris Sarandon Jr. Jack Skellington, like every other Halloween Town inhabitant also had a normal human life before where he was burned alive.

He is otherwise a very charming personality who can make the hearts of everyone in Halloween town sway, except that of Sally's who eventually falls prey to his charms.
