During the 19th century, technical advancements weren't there to make successful color broadcasts. Initially, color television involved a German patent, but later in 1928, a Scottish man by the name of John Logie Baird invented the first color TV.
Unfortunately, it was of poor quality and had portability issues. Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena introduced the color broadcast on February 8, 1963. The majority of people shifted from black and white to color television after the '70s.
