Slugs aren’t really the most exquisite creatures. However, have you ever had a look at them from an anatomical point of view?

Here, we give you a labeled picture of the various organs of a slug. Slug is a common name that is given to any shell-less mollusk. They are a part of the Gastropoda class and Mollusca phylum.

They are best recognized for their slimy body and raised tentacles. Generally, mollusks go through evolution over the years and lose their exterior shell.

Hence, these mollusks evolve into a slug. They are generally found near rivers, forests, and grasslands.

The various organs of a snail consist of head, mantle, knee, foot, skirt, trunk, tentacles, eyes and mouth. The following is our slug organs coloring pages resource, which the kids would love to color. In the free printable picture, we see a happy slug that appears to be on its way somewhere.

The picture would encourage kids to learn about the various features and traits of slugs further. This would also get them to read about the anatomy of other creatures as well.
