Daredevil is a fictitious hero helming from the American comic book series publishing house Marvel Comics.
The character was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett. It first appeared in the comic book 'Daredevil #1' published in April 1964.
Matt Murdock grew up in the crime-ridden part of New York City, known as Hell's Kitchen.
While saving a man from getting hit by a vehicle, Matt got blinded by a radioactive substance that left him with heightened senses known as 'radar sense'. Thus Matt took on the alias of Daredevil with which he fought the evil criminals at night while tackling crime as a lawyer in the day.
Some of the memorable supporting characters are Matt's best friend Franklin Foggy Nelson, his love interest Elektra, and Punisher, who both serve as a reluctant ally and antagonist of Daredevil.
