Foghorn Leghorn is a character from the cartoon show Looney Tunes, which started on 31 August 1946, by Robert McKimson.
Foghorn Leghorn was originally written by Warren Foster and it was animated and filmed by Warner Bros. At present, Warner Bros is the biggest production company for animations around the world.
Foghorn Leghorn's character was created with specific inspiration from the radio show, 'Senator Claghorn', who was played by Kenny Delmar. 'Walky Talky Hawky' was the first show in which Foghorn appeared as a guest for Henery Hawk. Foghorn Leghorn is one of the lead roles in Looney Tunes, where he portrayed himself as a mentor for the younger characters in the show. This tall, overweight rooster is well known for his mischief and loud voice. The voice was originally provided by Mel Blanc.
