Zed’s story begins as a boy on the steps of the home of the Kinkou Order.

He was taken in by the Great Master Kusho himself within the temple’s ancient walls. He quickly outspaced his peers in combat and study and dedicated his life to understanding Kinko’s spiritual tenets.

Even after all his efforts, Zed often felt overshadowed by his master’s son, champion Shen. Outshining everyone in his passion, Zed lacked Shen’s emotional balance.

However, despite their differences, the two characters were like brothers in the 'League Of Legends' universe. Journeying together to find the infamous “monster” Golden Demon, only for him to turn out to be a man named Khada Jhin. Instead of letting Zed kill champion Jhin, Kusho ordered for him to be imprisoned instead.

Disturbed by this, Zed started losing interest in his studies. Venturing deep into the temple’s secrets, he discovered an ornate, black box forbidden to all but the masters of the order. The shadows enveloped Zed and filled him with contempt and bitterness for the weak.

This also hinted at some dark, ancient magic! On returning to the temple, he demanded the Kinoku strike the Noxian invaders which was denied by the Great Master Kusho. Following which, Zed turned his back on them and walked away.

Thus undetached, he raised an army of followers to attack the Noxus. And anyone who threatened his homeland and army was marked for death without mercy. He soon realized his ambitions for war could not be fulfilled without the black box.

He decided to go back to the temple to claim the box, in the process overtaking the temple and establishing his Order of Shadow. Over time, Zed had disrupted the balance of First Lands irrevocably. He was determined to do whatever it took to see Ionia triumph.

'League of Legends' (which can be shortened to LoL), launched in 2009 was a stand alone game inspired by Defense of the Ancients, The video game is free to play but earns revenue via in-game purchases in the form of several customizations.

One such customization is the “skins” of the champions that change the appearance of the character but doesn’t affect the gameplay. It is the world’s largest esport, with 13 international leagues and the North American league being broadcasted on cable television (by ESPN) as well!

'Borderlands' Dr Zed Quotes

Borderlands (2009) is an open world action role-playing first person video game shooter, set in a space western science fantasy setting. It was created by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, Mac OS X and Shield Android TV.

It released worldwide in October 2009 and in December 2010 for Mac OS X by Feral Interactive.

It is focused on the story of four Vault Hunters travelling to the distant planet of Pandora in search of the Vault.

The Vault is thought to contain advanced alien technology and other riches. Doctor Zed is the only human resident to work in Fyrestone met by the Vault Hunters.

He later relocates to Haven but gives out some of the initial missions first. Borderlands sold over two million units by the end of 2009 and had three follow-ups: 'Borderlands 2', 'Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel' and 'Borderlands 3', a remastered version released as recently as April 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One .
