At Kidadl we pride ourselves on offering families original ideas to make the most of time spent together at home or out and about, wherever you are in the world. We strive to recommend the very best things that are suggested by our community and are things we would do ourselves - our aim is to be the trusted friend to parents.
We try our very best, but cannot guarantee perfection. We will always aim to give you accurate information at the date of publication - however, information does change, so it’s important you do your own research, double-check and make the decision that is right for your family.
Kidadl provides inspiration to entertain and educate your children. We recognise that not all activities and ideas are appropriate and suitable for all children and families or in all circumstances. Our recommended activities are based on age but these are a guide. We recommend that these ideas are used as inspiration, that ideas are undertaken with appropriate adult supervision, and that each adult uses their own discretion and knowledge of their children to consider the safety and suitability.
Kidadl cannot accept liability for the execution of these ideas, and parental supervision is advised at all times, as safety is paramount. Anyone using the information provided by Kidadl does so at their own risk and we can not accept liability if things go wrong.
National IT Professionals Day is a national holiday celebrated every third Tuesday of September all over the United States.
This day can be celebrated by both IT and non-IT professionals. If you are in the IT profession, you should celebrate this day by doing what you do best. But if you aren't working in technology, reach out to the professionals and appreciate them for their hard work.
This day was first celebrated in 2015 by an IT management software company, later adopted by my companies in the US.
An IT management software company, Solarwinds, started this day in 2015 to create awareness to their employees on the competitive skills of IT professionals.
Now that we have learned about the day, let's learn how this day began.
The tradition to be adopted to celebrate the day is to recognize the aim of IT Professionals Day. The day can be spent raising awareness for these professionals' vital role in our society and encouraging young people to pursue careers in STEM fields such as engineering, science, and maths.
IT Professionals Day can be celebrated similar to food holidays, by eating pizza and talking about how much you love technology. You can also take this day to thank business leaders, the unsung hero of business, the IT professionals. Some popular technical roles you can thank are system administrators, support technicians, database administrators, and network engineers who resolve network issues.
This day is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about the technology you use every day. You can also read up on new software, attend webinars, or play around with the latest gadgets.
Since 2015, the IT Pro Day award event has been conducted in honor of IT Professionals Day. The best support technicians, data administrators, database administrators, and system administrators across countries are awarded Trailblazer, Mentor, Rockstar, and Rookie of the year awards.
According to the IT Pro organization, 70% of people polled that productivity would be lost without the IT profession, clearly indicating those professionals' essential roles.
The inaugural of IT Professionals Day was observed after surveying how the non-IT staff feels about Information Technology Professionals. The survey discovered IT professionals were undervalued, which led to a national day of recognition.
No, there is no specific national day for IT Appreciation Day; however, National IT Professional Day was created to honor and appreciate the IT professions.
This day of celebration is worth being recognized, as it appreciates the technical experts from network engineers to ethical hackers.
National IT Professionals Day honors and appreciates the technical experts, and Programmers Day celebrates the coding experts.
National IT Professionals Day was created in 2015 by Solarwinds, an IT management software.
