The fire-tailed myzornis (Myzornis Pyrrhoura) is a small, bright green bird belonging to the warbler species. Earlier, they were classified under the family of Old World warblers, and only recently were they included in the Paradoxornithidae family.

The fire-tailed myzornis range map covers India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar. These birds thrive in subtropical and tropical forests in high altitudes, between 9,000 ft-13,000 ft (2700-4500 m). They feature a bright green feathery coat, although females may appear to be a little duller than females.

Usually, fire-tailed myzornis frequent bamboo thickets, junipers, birches, and rhododendrons. It is a common resident of the Himalayan regions of Sikkim and Arunachal.
