Here are some great teacup Chow Chow facts that you are sure to love!

The teacup Chow Chow, or miniature Chow Chow, is a breed of dog obtained through selective breeding of the Chinese Chow Chow dog. These dogs are bred by selecting small individuals of the species and making them mate, genetically modifying them by adding the dwarfism gene, or by cross-breeding them with naturally small species such as Pomeranians.

These adorable teddy bear-like dogs are known for their dense, soft double coat, triangular ears, and small squished faces, adding to their cute appearance.

They are known to be mildly aggressive in nature, however, with proper love and care they can be calmed down and provided training to become loyal, playful pets.

Their aggressive temperament has a good side when it comes to the bond between pet and owner, as they are wildly protective and will always be ready to attack any strangers who come off as a threat towards them.

Otherwise, it is not a very active puppy, preferring to laze around peacefully or play with its owner and go for leisurely strolls. With a proper grooming and exercise regime, balanced diet, timely health checkups, and a lot of love and attention, these dogs can become loving, long-lived companions and a great friend to any owner.
