The biblical story of Eve and Adam describes how God created man and then a woman from his own image.
A serpent convinces Eve to eat fruit from the forbidden tree. She gives the fruit to Adam, too, and they commit the original sin by disobeying God and are therefore expelled from paradise.
An origin story can be found in almost every civilization and faith, and the tale of Genesis in the Bible tells us Judeo-Christian views about how humans came to be on the Earth and why there exists sin and suffering in this world. The snake and the apple play a very crucial role in the fall of man.

Adam And Eve Story
The story starts with Adam and Eve's expulsion from the Garden of Eden and ends with their deaths. How long they lived in the Garden is unknown but there have been many speculations related to the timeline.
Eve conducts penance in the freezing Tigris river in the first chapters, but Satan convinces her out of it. When Adam protests that Satan's persecuting them, Satan reveals that he was ejected from heaven because of Eve.
For refusing to obey God's command to worship Adam, Satan and his followers were driven out of heaven. Adam is unfazed by the story and spends forty days in the Jordan River doing penance.
Forbidden fruit found in the Garden of Eden from the Tree of Knowledge was the subject of God's first recorded discussion with Adam. Except for the fruit from that tree, Adam and Eve were informed they may eat whatever they desired.
God warned them that if they did, they would perish. Death was God's forewarning before 'the great fall' and humankind's loss of purity.
Cain and Abel are born after that, and Cain kills Abel. There is no mention of them having twin sisters, and Cain's murder of Abel is swiftly forgotten. Seth, along with 30 other boys and girls, is born.
When were Adam and Eve born?
According to the Bible, God created Adam and Eve to care for His creation, populate the Earth, and have a relationship with Him.
Adam and Eve committed their first transgression in the Garden of Eden when they ate the forbidden fruit right from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Despite the fact that it plainly affected both Adam and Eve.
Scripture and tradition refer to it as the 'Sin of Adam' or 'Adam's Sin', rather than the 'Sin of Adam and Eve'. Sin is said to come to us also 'through one man', rather than 'through one man and one woman'.
Adam justifies himself by blaming Eve in part for his sin. In the fall of Adam, Adam claims that he did the same because Eve ate from the tree, and he did so because he believed in her innocence.
Despite his decision to choose Eve over God, Adam essentially shirks responsibility for his actions and blames Eve. It is also wise to note that God had instructed only Adam, and it was Adam who disobeyed him. This gives us one reason why it is called Adam's sin.
How many children did Adam and Eve have?
When it comes to the progeny of Eve and Adam, children were many, and they had 23 daughters and 33 sons, according to the old tradition.
However, there is no evidence that exists to support this claim.
How did Adam and Eve die?
Adam tells his third son, Seth, about a vision he had of his death. He and Eve try to collect healing oil as Adam is dying but are stopped by Archangel Michael.
Eve tells her version of the story of the Fall of Man. Eve was in charge of all the female animals as well as half of the Garden. Then, at the age of 930, Adam dies.
God and some angels bury Adam's and Abel's bodies after Adam's soul are taken to the third heaven. A resurrection is promised to Adam and his descendants. Eve died six days after Adam's death, and one of the other sons, Michael tells Seth not to weep on the Sabbath.
Did You Know...
The prohibited fruit growing in the Garden of Eden that God told people and forbade them from eating is known as forbidden fruit. But Satan tempted Eve to eat the fruit in the form of a serpent.
Eve, as per Genesis, is the 'mother of humanity' and Adam, the 'father of mankind'. Adam and Eve were, therefore, said to be the first human beings.
In the story of Adam and Eve, Eve, like Adam, was created from dust by God. God created Eve by extracting her from Adam's ribs and making her Adam's companion.
In Genesis stories, when the serpent tempted Eve, he not only told her lies, but he also called God a liar. This is because the serpent has hands and feet, and the 'Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil' is a fig tree, according to legends.
At the end of the sixth day of creation, God deems his work 'very good' and then rests on the seventh day. Life beyond God's garden is described in Genesis chapter 4, including the birth of Adam and Eve's first children and their death.
Jesus Christ is apparently 76 generations away from Adam.
God blessed the human race with Earth. Adam named all the animals on the same day before Eve was created. The serpent and other animals were with Adam in the garden. It was the same serpent, supposedly Satan, who persuaded Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.
The Fall of Adam reflects how humanity became aware of good and evil after eating the forbidden fruit. The loss of innocence for mankind was the fault of humans. Once both of their eyes were opened, they realized they were nude. So, they both wove fig leaves together and created clothes for themselves.
When Eve tells Adam about her disturbing dream, he is just as troubled as Eve. Adam shares his anxiety that Eve's dream was sprung from evil, but he knows Eve was made pure, just like him, and thus evil could not have sprung from her.
