Is there a kid superhero?

Throughout the years, we have constantly heard of only adult superheroes with their powers, protecting the lives of people from villains. But it is only recently that we have started seeing many younger superheroes, who might be the same age as you too!

These kid superhero characters either followed in the footsteps of their superhero parents or went on to make their own independent paths as kids with unique powers that made them different from other kids.

There are many kid superheroes that are constantly being introduced for a younger audience in particular by making the comics age-appropriate for kids too. For instance, there is Franklin Richards, the child of Mr.

Fantastic and Invisible Woman who could also potentially be the most powerful mutant in the mutant universe. Richards has the capability to manipulate various elements in the universe as well as in the Galaxy according to however he pleases. As a result, the Celestials have declared him to have powers beyond an omega level.

Then there is Kid Gladiator, who like his father Gladiator possesses impressive speed and a huge amount of strength. These abilities made him a useful asset when he fought alongside the Avengers!

Another popular character named Genesis was believed to be the younger version of Apocalypse and the Deathlok, the cyborg that traveled, spreading the prophesy that Genesis could go on to become either the world's greatest hero or villain!

A popular kid superhero is John Kent aka Superboy who is the son of Superman, and Lois Lane who encountered a strange experience when he went into space that aged him quickly to a teen. Once he returns to earth, he repairs his relationship with his father who guides him in his journey alongside the legion of super-heroes.

If you're an avid fan of X-Men, then you'd have probably heard of Wolverine. He had a child cloned after him, a daughter, with the DNA of Dr. Sarah Kinney named Laura Kinney. Laura Kinney who goes by her other name X-23 too also shares the same claws-retracting ability as her father.

A superhero character called Kamala Khan is another popular child hero with shapeshifting abilities and elasticity. Hailing from a Pakistani-American family in New Jersey city, her character has also been dubbed as Ms. Marvel as she was a mentee of Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel and Kamala looked up to her with great pride and admiration.

A Korean-American teenager named Amadeus Cho, who went on to become a young mastermind and befriended the infamous Hulk. Cho's story is an interesting one and will keep you glued to your seat as you indulge yourself in his story!

Garfield Mark Logan aka Beast Boy often referred to as 'B.B', is one of the main characters and founding members of the Teen Titans who has the amazing superpower to shapeshift into different animals and was created by DC comics.

However, from the story of this green-skinned hero, you'd learn that Beast Boy preferred laziness over saving or changing the world.

Another comic character that proves the fact that you can become your own hero is none other than Batgirl who chose to become a self-made superhero when she designed her own special costume and then went on to join Batman's crusade, becoming one of Gotham's most adored protectors. She was also the founding member of the Birds of Prey!

Most of the stories of these well-known superheroes with awesome powers have been adapted into both equally popular animated as well as live-action movies and you can definitely give them a watch!

Nonetheless, it is best to be aware of the fact that certain movies have been rated as PG-13 and don't cater to a younger audience which means that you'll have to watch some of these films under the supervision of your parents as some scenes might be too violent for you or contain themes of death.

The First Kid Superhero

The first kid superhero is believed to hail from Turkey and is called Glitter Girl! Also called Piriikiz, Glitter Girl has light-based powers and flight.

She also has a cute dog who wears a gravity belt and is named Sparkle. The Glitter Girl comic strip was first introduced in 'Rodeo Strip', a Turkish comic magazine! After the US, Turkey has been bringing out many powerful superheroes that are sure to take you by storm once you come across their stories.

Glitter Girl was the first kid superhero.

The Youngest Avenger

The youngest avenger in the MCU or Marvel Cinematic Universe is none other than Vision. For the first time ever, Vision appears in the movie 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' because of one of the Infinity stones which was the mind stone.

A very interesting fact about Vision is that, although he looks to be in full adult form, his mind is that of a three-year-old.

Vision is incredibly fast, can change his density to be as light or heavy as possible, absorb a good amount of sunlight, can change his strength, repair himself, and has a mind that thinks very fast too!

The Strongest Kid In Marvel

Franklin Richards, the first child of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman is believed to be the strongest kid in Marvel due to his intriguing and impressive amount of superpowers.

Because of his capabilities, the Celestials have declared Richards to have an Omega level of power, making him be the most powerful mutant in the universe possibly!
