A medium-sized mixed breed of Poodle and Scottish Terrier, the Scoodle, is one of the most intelligent and loyal dogs one would have ever seen. Apart from Scoodle, there are several names used to refer to the dog, such as Scottish Terrier Poodle mix, Scottiepoo, Scottish Poodle, Scottish Shoodle.

The Scottish Terrier Poodle mix breed is quite alert and can also serve as watchdogs. Their parent breeds, the purebred Scottish Terrier and the purebred Poodle were developed in Scotland and Germany, respectively.

The Scottish Terriers were developed to hunt rodents, while the Poodles were best known for their duck-hunting skills. The Scottish Terrier was officially registered by the American Kennel Club in 1885, while the Poodle was registered in 1887.
