Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr., or Antonio Brown, is a wide receiver from America who plays for the NFL's (National Football League) Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A Central Michigan University punt returned, Antonio received All-American accolades in both 2008 and 2009. A sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Antonio has more catches than any other player on the team from his first season in 2010 through 2018.

Born on July 10, 1988, Antonio spent most of his childhood in Liberty City and went to Miami Norland High School. Brown's first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers saw the team reach Super Bowl XLV, where the Green Bay Packers beat them.

In ten games, he ended his rookie season for 167 yards with 16 catches.

He became the first player in NFL history to have more than 1,000 yards receiving and returning in the same year during his second season. Brown was named to the 2012 Pro Bowl as a punt returner for his accomplishments.

Antonio picked 84 as his jersey number after being chosen in the 2010 'NFL Draft' by the 'Pittsburgh Steelers'. Before becoming a member of the 'Pittsburgh Steelers,' he claims he was ignored by 32 teams.

He also debuted on the 22nd season of the 'ABC' network's dancing competition program 'Dancing with the Stars' in March 2016. He made it to the program semifinals with Sharna Burgess, his professional dance partner.

On January 3, 2019, Brown competed in 'The Masked Singer' (American's version) but was eliminated in the first episode.

Antonio Brown has been selected five times for the 'Pro Bowl' in his career, with the fourth consecutive selection in 2016. In 2016, he was named for the third year in a row as the 'First Team All-Pro'.

He is the first and only wide receiver in NFL history to have five catches for at least 50 yards in each of the league's regular-season games.

When Antonio was only 16, he was forced to live on the streets for six months after his mother pushed him out of the family during the later part of his high school years because of his tendency to get into problems and fight with his stepfather.

Although Antonio was born to a well-known American football hero, he had actually lived without a guardian for most of his younger years. Desmond Brown, Antonio's brother and the younger child of Eddie Brown, is also a trained football professional who plays for the 'Pittsburgh Panthers.' Antonio's parents split in the mid-1990s, soon after his father joined the Albany/Indiana Firebirds.

When he was 12 years old, his mother remarried. Because he didn't get along with his stepfather, he was forced out of the house when he was 16 years old. For around six months, he had to spend his nights inside a car, at a friend's home, or in a cheap motel.

Antonio Brown is not married, but his girlfriend is Chelsie Kyriss. She has been with Brown for the whole of his career, and the couple has three children together. Autonomy, Brown and Chelsie's first child, was born in 2014.

She gave birth to their second kid, Ali, in 2015, and their third child, Apollo, on August 1, 2017. He has two additional children, Antonio Jr. and Antanyiah, from prior relationships before his connection with Chelsie Kyriss. Brown as a father has four sons and one daughter.

Antonio was a wide receiver for the Albany Firebirds and a Louisiana Tech college football player. He was a football player at Miami Norland High School of Florida.

Brown was a punt returner, running back, wide receiver, and quarterback for the Vikings in football. He was a double-time Class 6A all-state pick and was voted as North Athlete of the Year at the Miami-Dade Gridiron Classic, 2005.

Brown enrolled at Florida State University after graduating from high school. His application was turned down due to academic issues.

He then enrolled at North Carolina Tech Prep after failing to get into Alcorn State.

Brown tossed for 11 touchdowns and 1,247 yards in only five games as a quarterback while running for 451 yards and 13 scores.

After completing his first season at North Carolina Tech Prep, he was offered a scholarship to play at Florida International University, but he was expelled just a few weeks before the season began due to a disagreement with security.

Brown then started reaching out to Butch Jones, West Virginia wide receivers coach, who had recruited him heavily.

Antonio enrolled at Central Michigan University after learning that Butch had moved from West Virginia to become the senior coach there. He began his early collegiate football career as a walk-on freshman for their football team.

Antonio Brown Dates Joined

In 2013, Antonio became the first and only receiver in NFL history to have five catches for at least 50 yards in each of the league's regular-season games.

Brown's relationship with the Pittsburgh Steelers deteriorated, notably with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, despite his ongoing team records and on-field success, including leading the league in catches and receiving yards in 2014, 2015, and 2017, and receiving touchdowns in 2018, and he eventually requested for an Oakland Raiders trade.

Brown was swapped in 2019 to the Oakland Raiders and became the league's highest-paid receiver.

However, Brown's stint in Oakland was short-lived, as the organization terminated Brown's contract without him playing a proper-season game after many off-the-field problems, including a brawl with general manager Mike Mayock.

Soon after, Antonio signed with the New England Patriots, but he was released after just one game. Brown then signed a one-year contract with the team New England Patriots on September 7, 2019, the same day he was released by the Raiders, for up to $15 million with a $9 million signing bonus.

The Patriots released Brown on September 20 as a result of new assault claims against Britney Taylor, including reportedly frightening texts sent to one of his accusers after arriving in New England.

After leaving the New England Patriots, he signed with the Buccaneers after spending the remainder of 2019 and the opening of 2020 as a free agent, winning Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs and rejoining with quarterback Tom Brady.
