In a two-part movie adaptation of the same name, Daniel Radcliffe reprises the role of teenage wizard Harry Potter.

In the movie 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows', Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger try to find and destroy the Horcruxes. They go on a journey to eradicate the Horcruxes, the origins of Voldemort's immortality, without the direction and protection of their teachers.

They need each other more than ever; evil forces threaten to drive them apart. Voldemort's Death Eaters have taken over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts.

The hunt for Harry has gotten stronger, as he and his companions prepare for the ultimate clash. As the series ends, Harry Potter deafeats Voldemort.

In the last scene, which takes place 19 years later, Ginny and Harry are seen as being married and sending their children off to Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione were represented as a couple in the same scenario. The movie has no further installments.

Creation Of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' is the seventh and final novel and movie adaption in the main Harry Potter series.

J. K. Rowling is the author of books. The book was published o n July 21, 2007, by Bloomsbury Publishing in the UK, Scholastic in the US, and Raincoast Books in Canada.

The novel follows the events after 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince' (2005). It shows the last encounter seen between the wizards Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

There are two movies based on this single novel. Daniel Radcliffe played Harry Potter, Emma Watson played the part of Hermione Granger, and Rupert Grint portrayed Ron Weasely. It was produced by Warner Bros. Ralph Fiennes played the main antagonist Lord Voldemort.

John Williams made the scores for the first three films. Due to his hectic schedule, John Williams was unavailable for 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows'.

The launch of the last book was turned into a massive event. There were a couple of events that took place all over the USA.

  • Rowling and 1,700 guests chosen by ballot attended a night of book signing and reading.
  • The event happened at the Natural History Museum in London to commemorate the book's release. J K Rowling toured the United States in October 2007.
  • Another event was scheduled in New York at Carnegie Hall.
  • Scholastic also launched a marketing campaign for the sales of the book. The campaign was a Knight Bus that traveled to 40 libraries throughout the USA. There were online fan conversations and contests, collectible bookmarks, tattooing, and the staged publication of the seven most discussed Deathly Hallows questions by fans.
  • The last of the Harry Potter movies, 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2', came out in 2011.

Harry Potter fans seemed to like the book as soon as it was released. However, Potterheads were disappointed that this would be the last book of the series. It also meant the last of the Harry Potter movies.

Famous Roles In Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

The main character is Harry Potter. His close friends are Ron Weasely and Hermione Granger. Lord Voldemort is the antagonist who wants to kill Harry potter in the series.

The role is played by Daniel Radcliffe. David Holmes was the stunt artist for the role of Harry Potter. Harry, the novel's protagonist, turns 17 throughout the book's course of events.

Michael Gambon portrayed Professor Albus Dumbeldore in the last movie. He was the headmaster of Hogwarts. Dumbledore is immensely brilliant and foresighted, having meticulously planned Harry's mission. Yet, he is enigmatic, and Harry begins to mistrust his wisdom. Dumbledore established the Order of the Phoenix, an organization of wizards devoted to the defeat of Voldemort.

  • Severus Snape:

Alan Rickman portrayed professor Severus Snape. Alan Rickman had been a part of the series right from the beginning until the end. He is the one who killed Professor Dumbeldore. He was thought to be a loyal person to Voldemort which was later revealed to be untrue. The character is portrayed in negative shades in the movies.

  • Lord Voldemort

Ralph Fiennes portrayed the character of Lord Voldemort. After 14 years, the most powerful wicked wizard ever lived returned to his body with full abilities. Voldemort killed Harry's parents when Harry was one year old.

His curse rebounded onto him and ripped his spirit from his body. This caused him to lose almost all of his powers.

Voldemort seizes control of the Ministry of Magic, killing many Muggles and wizards. He is fascinated by how Harry continues defeating or eluding him. He would go to any length to discover a method to kill Harry.

There are many characters in the movie without whom the movie would not have been complete.

  • Bellatrix Lestrange

Helena Bonham Carter portrayed the role of Bellatrix Lestrange. Bellatrix Lestrange was among Voldemort's most devoted, trustworthy, and terrifying disciples, whom Voldemort released from Azkaban. She is Narcissa Malfoy's sister and the aunt of Draco Malfoy. Lestrange was also known to have a daughter with Voldemort, as mentioned in 'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child'.

  • Luna Lovegood

The role was portrayed by Evanna Lynch. Evanna Lynch was a huge fan of the Harry Potter series before she became a part of the same.

She portrayed Luna Lovegood in films and video games based on 'Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix', 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince', and 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows'. She did the voice-over for Luna's character in the video game adaptations of these movies. The character is a devoted friend of Harry Potter.

Bonnie Francesca Wright played the role of Ginny Weasley. The character is Ron's younger sister. Ginny is a Dumbledore's Army member who has proved to be a fierce and resilient ally well before meeting Harry. She is shown married to Harry potter in the last scene of the movie.

  • Remus Lupin

David Thewlis played the role. Harry's old Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and close ally. Lupin is a werewolf and a Phoenix Order member. He marries and has a child with Nymphadora Tonks.

  • Fred and George Weasley

Ron's elder brothers are identical twins who are difficult to distinguish. They are extremely naughty yet devoted to Harry. He lived in their Hogwarts home and provided the family with the money to open a magic shop.

  • Dolores Umbridge

Imelda Staunton played the role. A senior official at the Ministry of Magic who was formerly in charge of Hogwarts. Umbridge is utterly wicked, delighted in tormenting others and persecuting individuals through laws and regulations. She is not one of Voldemort's Death Eaters. She controls the Ministry's search for and punishment of Mudbloods.

  • Lily Potter

Geraldine Somerville played the role of Lily who was Harry Potter's mother. She sacrificed her life to save harry. The character has been shown in flashbacks in many movies of the Harry Potter series.

  • Bill Weasley:

The role was played by Domhnall Gleeson. Bill Weasley is the eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley. He is two years older than Charlie, the second son.

He is tall, with long, red hair pulled into a pigtail and a fang earring. His mother disapproves of both these. He was a Gryffindor House student and Head Boy during his seventh year at Hogwarts.

  • Arthur Weasley

Mark Williams played the role. The Weasley family's father and a Ministry of Magic team member. Arthur has always been fascinated by and curious about the Muggle world, which has hindered him from progressing very far in his Ministry career. When Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry, his life is threatened.

  • Neville Longbottom:

Matthew Lewis played the role. He was a classmate of Harry potter and a loyal friend.

He has been a pitiful weakling for most of the series, unable to recall his studies or perform magic adequately. His parents were Aurors, or Dark wizard hunters, who, according to earlier books, were tortured and rendered mad by Bellatrix Lestrange, a Death Eater.

In this novel, he assumes Harry's position as the heroic commander of Dumbledore's Army and the underground resistance to Snape.


Is Deathly Hallows a real story?
The Deathly Hallows was inspired by a true-life story. Rowling opted to adapt the 'Deathly Hallows' on Geoffrey Chaucer's narrative The Pardoner's Tale. This is one of several stories from the popular book 'The Canterbury Tales'.
