The biggest thing in the world could either be a living thing or a human-made structure.

The biggest thing ever to exist is the universe which is known to hold galaxies and the solar system within it. The universe and cosmos are roughly the same things.

Research says the cosmos or the universe is the biggest thing to exist ever. The term cosmos was first stated by Pythagoras to indicate a universe that operates in a symmetrical manner. If we compare, the universe is larger than the galaxy. Whereas the galaxy is larger than the solar system. In the case of our planet, it is present within the big milky way. The milky way is massive but is definitely not the biggest. To date, the IC 1101 galaxy is known to be the largest galaxy which is spread across an area of 4 million light-years. This galaxy is around 50 times larger than the milky way and is known to be massive. It is located around 5.5 million light-years away from our galaxy. Apart from this galaxy, the elliptical galaxies which are present within the universe contain 1 trillion big stars within them on average. Few of these galaxies could be extremely big by size and are around 20 times larger than the milky way. There are patches of gases in the form of clouds which can be extremely large as well. In space, there are different layers of objects which are present in their synchronized position. Even though we live under layers of structures present in the universe, there could be an end to it. According to scientists, the last thing that can happen to the universe is collapsing. Based on a few theories, there are chances of a complete collapse of space, where no trace of space can be located. However, recent researchers believe there is a possibility of freezing of the universe where the universe is known to drift from its elements stopping the process of the formation of the stars. This will eventually cause the existing stars to burn out and the skies are most likely to turn black.

What is the biggest thing in the world and where does it live?

The world's biggest thing to ever live and survive on the planet is the giant Antarctic blue whale. The blue whale is one of the most primitive animals to live as well as has one of the longest lifespans.

The world's biggest and the largest animal on Earth is the Antarctic blue whale, scientifically termed the Balaenoptera musculus. The Antarctic blue whale is classed as Critically Endangered. Although the arctic ocean has never been the home to this huge animal. These huge creatures are either spotted alone or in small groups. Mostly the whale is seen swimming across the water level and is known to be visible to the nearby ships and boats. Apart from being the largest, it is also the Earth's tallest animal with an average length of around 1173.22 in (29.8m) and has an accumulative weight of 33 elephants put together. The cold waters from the polar regions are home to this creature where the whale spends most of its summer. During the winter months, they migrate towards the equator to enjoy comparatively warmer weather. The whale is so large, that size of the heart is equivalent to a small car. The quantity of food consumed by the whales is at its peak during the breeding season. During this time the whale feeds on thousands of pounds of krill on a daily basis.

Is Jupiter the largest thing in the universe?

Jupiter is one of the eight planets and is situated at the fifth position from the sun. Even though it is the largest planet in our solar system, it is far from being the largest thing to ever exist in the universe.

Jupiter is by far the largest planet in our solar system to revolve around the sun. It has the largest diameter and is situated at the second position from the Earth. Due to its giant structure along with five other planets, this planet can be seen with naked eyes from the Earth. Jupiter is extremely unique when it comes to the material that it is made of. The interior mass of Jupiter is known to be made of the mass of the sun. This mass is only found or available in Jupiter apart from the volume of the sun. Jupiter is known to be the only planet to contain this mass. The largest planet in the universe has a unique layer that is made of clouds. Despite all of these extraordinary characteristics and with a giant diameter size of around 5.629291e+9 in (142,984 km), Jupiter is not the largest thing in the universe. In terms of the years, our universe is considered to be around 13.8 billion years old. The HAT-P-67 is the largest planet in the exoatmosphere. Exoatmosphere is the thinnest layer of all the layers surrounding space. According to a report published in the year 2013, the Hercules Corona Borealis Great Wall is known to be the biggest and the largest structure to ever exist in the universe.

What is the second biggest thing in the world?

According to researchers, the largest and the biggest things in the world are found under the ocean. It is believed by scientists that around 70 percent of the oceanic world has not been discovered as of now.

We know that the largest animal to live on the planet is the blue whale. The second biggest living thing to exist on the planet is the North Pacific right whale. Rungrado May is the largest football stadium in the world while the Michigan stadium is the Earth's second-largest football stadium. The biggest mall in the world is the Dubai mall. It is a giant mall and can fit 1,200 shops inside it. SM Tianjin has the space for the second biggest mall. Another fascinating thing is the Belaz 75710. It is the world's largest truck with a weight of around 36 normal buses. This big truck is similar to a big two storied building by size.

What is the biggest thing in the world inside the planet?

When it comes to the biggest things found on the planet, there is a long list of them. Apart from the living things, there could be a few human-made objects which are considered to be the biggest and largest things on the planet.

For living beings, the blue whale is the largest animal in the water. Whereas the largest animal on land is the elephant. Apart from the living beings, the largest tree is the German Sherman tree, they are a kind of sequios and occur naturally. They genetically grow big in size. The size of these trees increases by length as well as by width. Although one of the biggest human-made things is the An-225 Mriya plane built during the last years of the 20th century which is massive in length. Apart from this, around 60 years ago world's largest human-made lake was created in the year 1959.
