Young fans of animal stories will love these free printable sad pig coloring pages resource. One such story is the story named ‘Tom’s tail’, which revolves around a pig who was sad because of his curly tail.

Tom wanted to have a straight tail and he then comes across Henry, a horse who tries to straighten Tom’s tail but fails.

He then meets Sam, the dog who also fails to help Tom straighten his tail.

This made Tom even sadder, and then he approaches Betsy, the cow who straightens Tom’s tail by letting it dry after soaking in sticky mud. Later, Tom reaches his home and his tail troubles all his brothers and sisters, and they then drive Tom away from the pigsty.

Tom had no choice but to sleep outside and when it rained that night, the mud came off his tail and his tail went back to being curly. Tom had now realized that there was no point in being obsessed over having a straight tail.

The story illustrates that we should never think of our body parts as flaws and instead should consider them to be different from others.
