George MacDonald was a famous poet and author from Scotland.

Born in Huntly in Aberdeenshire, this prolific poet was also a Christian minister. He is often cited as the pioneer of modern fantasy literature by many critics.

George MacDonald wrote numerous poems and books for both adults and children. His famous works include 'Phantastes', 'Lillith', 'The Princess And The Goblin' and others.
