Jiraiya is a shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village, famous for his mastery over 'Sage Jutsu'.
In the Second Great Ninja War, he, along with his teammates Tsunade and Orochimaru, are given the title of the 'Legendary Sannin' by Hanzo of the Salamander of Hidden Rain Village. It is said that no shinobi alive can defeat the three of them together.
Jiraiya is not only a shinobi who could kill people faster than they could blink, he is also the famous author of 'Make-Out Tactics' series of novels.
