Howard Phillips Lovecraft is known for his works in the field of weird function.

He is known to be the 20th century master of Gothic tales of horror. He is mostly known for his creation of the Cthulhu Mythos.

Lovecraft had an interest in science from a young age, but poor health stopped him from attending college. He started to work as a rewrite man and a ghostwriter and spent his life in poverty and seclusion.
