Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, is a beloved character in the popular Netflix show 'Stranger Things.'
Steve Harrington has many shades in all seasons. He played as an antagonist in season one and later became a protagonist from season two onwards.
From being the tough guy with cool hair to a babysitter and mentor to the kids, Steve has become one of the lovable characters related to the series.
The show's first season started in October 2016 and is three seasons old, written and directed by The Duffer Brothers. The series is distributed on Netflix and is high on entertainment, and has huge worldwide popularity.
Steve Harrington is a student of Hawkins High School. His two best friends are Tommy H and Carol Perkins and also the boyfriend of Nancy Wheeler. In season one, he gets along with Nancy, but after her friend Barb's disappearance, she gets a bit aloof. He feels that Nancy is cheating on him with Jonathan and almost breaks up with her. Eventually, he realizes his misjudgment and goes to Jonathan's house to say sorry to her, but sees them getting attacked by a Demogorgon. All three of them fight with it and defeat it, and he becomes close to Nancy again.
In season two, Steve's character is shown as a good guy but having difficulty with his love, Nancy, who does not want him to be her boyfriend anymore. At Hawkins High School, he confronts the new tough kid, Billy Hargrove, and becomes a 'babysitter' for the way too young Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Max, who is related to Billy. When Demodogs attack the kids, he displays great courage and becomes a savior to them.
In season three, Steve finishes school with his old classmate Robin and works at Scoops Ahoy, an ice cream shop in Starcourt mall. They come across a Russian message on ham radio and know about a secret Russian underground base in the mall trying to open upside down. To sneak in, they take the help of Erica, who is related to Lucas, but are eventually caught and drugged. Kids Dustin and Erica save them and come onto the ground to warn others. In the fight that ensues, the mall gets destroyed. In the end, Steve finds work at a Family Video.
